Women around the world are being taught to self-examine their breasts to determine whether or not the feel anything wrong with it. This is something you learn while you are still young. But did you know that this is not the only way you can examine your breasts? As a matter of fact, there are more things you should be on the lookout for.
Worldwide Breast Cancer and KnowYourLemons shared an infographic recently on the different changes you should be checking for. The infographic makes use of lemons to demonstrate how breast cancer can look and feel like. At the beginning, breast cancer may feel or look like a lump. But this does not mean this is the only thing to prompt you to see a doctor. It could also include leaking fluid, dimpled skin, or an indentation in your breast.
It's important to take note, however, that breasts come in various shapes and sizes. Some of the characteristics on the infographic may be normal. But whenever you feel or see a change, it should be a sign for you to see your doctor.
